Usage

Preformed suspension clamp is one connector which makes the OPGW cable hung on the transmission line tower. The clamp can reduce the cable’s static stress on the terminal vertex, improve the cable’s anti-vibration, to keep the dynamic stress of wind-force vibration down; it can also guarantee the cable’s camber in the allowable extent, therefore, this will not make the bending stress and  harmful stress concentration, and the optical fiber in the cable can not have the supplementary loss.

Structure and material

It is the assemble clamp, including suspension head (made up of rubber clamp, aclad, bolt, plain cushion, spring washer, nut, lock pin), outer layer preformed armor rods, preformed armor rods.

   Preformed armor rod intertwine at the cable’s outer layer directly, it provide protection and rigidity for cable, the preformed armor rod is infibulated by the rubber clamp inserts, the dolioform rubber clamp inserts is pinned by the middle part of outer layer preformed armor rod, the out is alclad.

Alclad     The material is corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, we use the pressure casting to make, the chemical property of aluminium alloy is steady, its atmospheric corrosion resistance is good, it also has the good mechanical property.

Rubber clamp  made up of superior rubber and center reinforcer, ozone resistance, chemically-resistance, resistance to deterioration on weathering, temperature performance, higher intensity and flexibility, smaller compressive deformation.

Instruction

1)      Clamp has one fulcrum is to use to connect the cable and the straight line pole or the

tower whose elevation is less than 25°; clamp has two fulcrums used on the straight tower of big span or big elevation.

2)      The users can select the suitable suspension clamp according to the specification table, cable diameter, span and the comprehensive load.

3)      For OPGW cable.

4)      Choose the different connection clamp and suspension clamp according to the different seton on the tower.

O-OPGW; X- suspension clamp; F-not mechanical; four numbers in front-suitable cable diameter; three numbers behind-clamp intensity; S-clamp has two fulcrums.
